Job DescriptionThis role helps to foster self-reliance, care for the poor and the needy, and provide opportunities for giving and service by:
helping members become economically and emotionally self-reliant; providing access to essential food and clothing items; helping members prepare for and respond to disasters; and providing humanitarian aid to relieve suffering; thus furthering the mission of the Church.
The foreman is responsible to assist the farm/ranch manager and, under limited supervision, perform the duties and functions required to meet the welfare needs of the Church, including planting, cultivating, harvesting, and marketing of farm products.
There are critical time sensitive moments in which to plant, cultivate, irrigate, and harvest if a quality product is to be produced.
The incumbent must be dedicated to see that the work is accomplished, no matter how many hours are required.
Varying climactic conditions.
